First and foremost, belated happy birthday to my most missed friend - Aeda Ruth Roy San Diego. Di ka na teen. As in totoo. Wah. I miss you Ada! Uwi ka na dito. Di ko nakakalimutan yung date natin pag-uwi mo dito. Manonood tayo Little Mermaid ng Trumpets. Love you.

Next. Thanks.

Darn. Hell week na naman. I don't know how to squeeze in everything with the time I have. There are quizzes in ER, finals in ER, finals in EENT. And then, there's Research. There's the defense. Pagod na ako. Super masama na talaga ang pakiramdam ko. Ilang days pa, bibigay na talaga tong katawan ko. Feeling ko magkaka-lagnat na ako in three days.

I am totally drained. Hirap na ako. Deadlines. Finals. Potek! Hirap na talaga ako. GOD, I lift up everything to YOU. Help me carry my burdens. Wah.

What do you call male bitches?

There are just some egotistical, selfish, self-centered, in-denial gay guys. Good thing he doesn't read this. He is more obsessive compulsive than I am. He worries about things that shouldn't need worrying. He's self-centered. He thinks that everything is about him. I'll refer to him as Mitch - as in, male bitch. I so want to tell him this, "You know what, you are not Ally McBeal because you don't look cute when you let everything revolve around you. You think everything is personal. You have this Savior, Grandiosity Complex which is anything but funny, and cute. So, will you please stop and just get lost. And, you have the nerve to turn everything against me. Mitch! Go to hell."

Its been ages since I have posted my last entry. I would be a liar if I said I was too busy to write. I am busy but I am just too lazy to try to write. Anyway, I don't need to explain. Its not like I have a following.

These past few days, I've been watching Ally Mc Beal on DVD. I am done with Seasons 1 and 2. I love the show! Its funny yet touching at times. Its so nice to tackle the eccentricities of human beings. What's even better is that they sure have great music played during the show.

The show is about lawyers getting through their adult life. They are the weirdest yet very lovable characters that you'd ever see in television. Its weird how they hear songs by Barry White, and Al Green from their heads and dance to it. They have weird dance steps, as well.

What I am most intrigued is the way they treat love in the story. Love is treated in different ways. There's a lot of love.

I am still a firm believer of happy endings but, I keep an open mind of the possibility of having a tragic end. What I am most bothered is the fact that in the show, some people have become so cynical about love.

I do believe in happy endings. And happy endings doesn't always mean that you are with someone. You could be alone yet still be happy. I believe that each one of us has somebody. GOD created that somebody for us. I know it. And, its up to us to find them.

I still have the Transformers hang-over. I really love the movie. Its even better than SpiderMan 3. Its funnier and has more action-packed scenes. Shia was great and was very charming in the film. He still has that Even Stevens quirkiness, and charm. I love it! I'll definitely watch Disturbia. So, you better watch Transformers because you'd really miss a lot if you don't.

Its the start of our 1-week vacation. Yeah! You heard it right. One week. Well, better than nothing. See, here's the problem, I only have one week and yet I still have a lot of things to do for our community documentation. This has been such a plague. Although, I really enjoyed our 3 week stint at Baybay Sapa, this documentation stuff has been such a pain. I get tired of doing the documentation. And, when I close my eyes to sleep, all I coild think about is the documentation. Its haunting me! This stuff which is supposed to be a group work - well, about 75% of it, I made it myself. Sheesh...

Hay! Kaasar!

Today is Election Day in the Philippines. And, although I am not yet a registered voter these are the candidates that I would have voted for.

  1. Manny Villar - because of his rags to super rich story; and, well he has a very nice ad; and he's the only one who could shake his hips in that weird, awkward, and funny way
  2. Kiko Pangilinan - because I think he is very intellectual and I think he is approachable; and, c'mon, he is Sharon's husband
  3. Chiz Escudero - he delivers his points very well; I believe he is very principled; and he looks like Bamboo
  4. Alan Cayetano - I think he is principled and I think that he listens; plus, his brother Lino Cayetano is super cute
  5. Joker Arroyo - I think that his image in the Erap case still sticks to my head; Plus, pag bad ka, lagot ka!
  6. Mike Defensor - he is very loyal; I think loyalty is a great quality and although, I believe he is loyal to the wrong person, I still believe that that quality of his stands out; plus, si tol yan noh! ine-endorse siya ni manny pooh-quiao tsaka ni keanna... hehe...

Crap! I typed something in here and I think I pressed something that totally erased everything that I've written. Now, I am pissed!

Catching Up

Its been ages since my last post. I've been busy. I still am busy. But, thank GOD for a three-day vacation and I am able to do trivial things that doesn't concern school.

School's been such a pain. I have a very tight schedule. I have lots of things to do. And, most importantly, I have to go to my hospital duties this summer. The only thing that's keeping me sane is the thought that I only have one week left of this duty and I will be free. Well, free for just one week. I can't complain. One week is good enough.

Anyway, I have a lot of stories that I wasn't able to write about. That sucks, you know. But, those stories will always be forever etched in my memory.

Wow. I am just so giddy about this new template. I really like it. Although, I would have loved if the creator of this template made this template in pink. I am really fond of the color pink. I think its cute. Hehe...

I still have a lot of things to do. But, I'd like to indulge in writing about my guilty pleasure - TV Shows.

The Amazing Race All Stars is already finished and I am certainly not happy with the results. It would have been a great season if Charla and Mirna won the race. I mean, they certainly have gone through and succeeded great challenges. Actually, I would have loved if Dustin and Kandice also won. Okay, I am becoming shady. Lets put it this way. It would have been great if Eric and Danielle lost. I don't like them. I just don't. Argh...

I am beginning to regret that I haven't been religiously watching American Idol. From the clips that I have seen, I think the Bon Jovi night was great. I wasn't able to watch it. Grr... The last thing I saw was the BeeGees night where surprisingly, Lakisha (I have no idea how to spell her name) was eliminated. I actually thought that Lakisha ang Doolittle (I am still not sure about the spelling) will be the final two contestants.

Gilmore Girls is cancelled. After seven seasons, they are going to leave our TV sets. Not only is Gilmore Girls cancelled, 7th Heaven is also cancelled. This just sucks. I really love these two shows. Oh well. I am going to miss Rory, Lorelai, Ruthie, Lucy, Matt, Kevin, and the Twins, and oh, Mr. & Mrs. Camden.

I am enjoying Heroes. And, I can't wait for the complete seasons of Grey's, House, Prison Break to be sold in the malls.

I can't believe that anybody is capable of killing 32 people. I can't believe someone is capable of killing. This is just horrendous. Terrifying is just an understatement of what transpired in VA Tech. I am thinking that maybe he's been going through a lot and that he just snapped. But, we all go through tough stuff. Killing is never a solution. Oh, God. I am scared. Really scared.

Its been ages since my last entry. And, a lot of things happened. Many things. Things... I'll probably never forget. And, of course, things I'd like to forget.

Lapit na ang bakasyon... Ma-uupdate ko din ito... Super busy lang talaga sa school...

This terrifies me
Every single part
They are burning and fearing
All at the same time

It doesn't stop
This plague I'm experiencing
It's all too overwhelming
I think I'm drowning

The worst part is not over
I just saw a prelude
My dreams, could they really tell
Or is it just my mind playing

The hardest part?
I might say goodbye
Without even beginning to tell
what I truly feel inside

But maybe its better
Or, it really IS best this way
So, that dream won't come true
Because I really won't let it

LORD, take this fear from me
Its just, well, too much
Its a little 'too' of everything
Too scary, too confusing, too complicated

What happens next?
What'll I do?
What could become of me?
Who am I right now?
I don't know.

Another 4 day vacay, and I still am not productive. Well, except for the good news of renewing my commitment to HIM, my saviour.

Anyway, this is so typical of me. Laying around like a pig, eating, and sleeping. Watching tv all day. Argh... I just hate this...

I loved that Candice is out of Survivor. I don't like her. And, the tribal council is like the worst tribal council ever! All of them are illogical, irrational, and stupid. Argh... I hope that Yul and Ozzy are in the final two. Or, Yul and Becky. Actually, I just like Yul to win this season. He's smart and played the game well. I am just happy that Candice got voted out.

Of all the reality shows that I am watching right now, Survivor is the only show that jived with what I wanted to happen. Did that make sense?

Okay.

I have my Starbucks organizer. Woohoo... After all 21 fraps! Finally!

Wednesday, November 29, 2006

I only need to buy 3 more beverages from their holiday menu, and I'll have my very own Starbucks organizer... Woohoo! I am excited.

We took our finals for Hema this morning. It was definitely hard. I read the handouts and it wasn't enough. I am pretty sure that I am going to fail but, by GOD's grace... I know I'll pass.... Hay...

Gagawa na ako ng wish list ko... Hehe...

Ciao...

And the game changes...

Survivor has gotten better. Somehow, Aitu has the power over the whole tribe. And, of course, Jonathan also has a slight power to change things. Haa... I love this show. The bluffing, the deception. Its pretty much like our everyday lives - only, it is shown on the tv and emotions are exaggerated and magnified. I hope that Yul and Ozzy are in the final two.

Hay...

See... Here's the deal. I hope that Yul recognizes the fact that somehow he made a mistake by showing th hidden immunity idol to Jonathan. I mean, that guy could use it against him. But, looks like from a preview next week, Jonathan is siding with Aitu for now. I hope that any Aitu member should win the next immunity challenge. And, they should vote for Adam. Then, Candice. Then, Parvati. And, when there are 5, which hopefully would be Jonathan, Yul, Ozzy, Becky, and Sundra... Well, that's a new playing field. The four Aitu members would be scrambling to get Jonathan to their side because they will stand a greater chance to win the million bucks at the finals if the were with the bad guy - Jonathan... But, it would be nice if the final four were the Aitu members.

Grabe!

If I had a Tired Scale of 1 to 10, my rating would be a 20. I am that tired.

See, this is my very first time to scrub in for a major surgery. I scrubbed in for a Radical Nephrectomy. This patient has a tumor near his kidneys and they had to remove it. this operation took a long time. The surgery started around 9 in the morning and it was finished at 3 in the afternoon. This means that I stood up for 6 hours straight without any breaks - even bathroom breaks. It was tiring! As in. But, the good thing though is that by GOD's grace the surgeons were able to successfully remove the tumor. There was even a time during the whole surgery when I thought that the patient wasn't going to make it because I kept on hearing that there was a bleeder.

Surgery is so intense. I would love to be a surgeon and have that adrenaline and that intensity. Surgeons... Ah... There are a handful of good-looking surgeons. And, I happen to bump into one of these good ones, a lot.

Maybe I am exaggerating and ignoring the fact that St. Luke's is a place where doctors work and student nurses get a taste of what it is to be a nurse. And, it is not very far from possible that doctors and student nurses would bump into each other. But a girl can dream, right?

See, every single time that I have my duty in St. Luke's, I always see this doctor. I don't know his name. But, what the heck? The first time that I saw him was in OPD. I was assigned in the HEENT section of the OPD, and there he is. Well, I also saw this cute intern there. But, he stood out because he looks so matured and smart and he IS very attractive. Next, in Annex III. It wasn't really the assigned area for me but because our group got dissolved, I was asigned there. In one of the days that I was there, I saw him again. Hmm... Gwapo talaga. And then, now! He was having a surgery. Oh, gosh. Gwapo talaga. Astig. Hay, my very own McDreamy.

A very long surgery is tiring.

Sunday, November 19, 2006

Aitu did it again. Woohoo! I just love it when underdogs win. Go Aitu! But, Jenny was voted out in a surprising second elimination. Didn't like her though, so no big deal. Now, that they are already 5 persons in Raro, its time to break the Rob and Amberish thing going on between Candice and this other guy. Time to vote off that other guy. Parvati and this black guy should align theirselves with Jonathan. Its time to cut the head off that Alex guy. I think his name is Alex.

Anyone from the Aitu tribe wins. Will there be a merge? Not yet, I hope. The Aitu tribe should continuously win the challenges. Please.

Speaking of winning, I pray that Pacquiao wins today!

Umm... on the other hand, I've wasted another 3 days of doing nothing. Thanks to my laziness I am cramming once again to get things done today. I never learn! Help!
